Video games are a great way to capture Kids' attention. I looked hard for music games and there wasn't much to choose from. I might have to do more extensive search sometime or make some games myself!
This game is a silly little drummer game that works on some rhythm and tempo. The goal is to alternate left and right hands hitting the drum at a steady tempo for as fast as you can in one minute!
Using this game with beginning percussionist could be very fun indeed!

Classroom Netiquette Rules
For my Senior High classroom, I have chosen these Netiquette rules:
1. Use the Golden Rule: Treat others how you would like to be treated. Treat people on the Internet just like you would treat someone sitting next to you in class. Correcting others grammar, using slang and lots of sarcasm can make you appear to be a very rude person. Please be respectful!
2.Always make sure that the Internet site you are about to visit is approved by me or one of your parents. There are many bad sites out there, and the most important thing is your safety. This includes not opening emails that you are unfamiliar with. They could have bad content, or worse be a virus.
3.NEVER post your full name, address, phone number, location, passwords or any other important information online. Even emails can be sent astray.
4. Always cite anything you use from the Internet. Plagiarism is ugly and very disrespectful. make sure to give people props for all their hard work!
5.Be polite with Instant Message Language as well as caps. ALL CAPITALS CAN BE RUDE. Somtims loz of abrv can get annoying ALT u know!? BRB and LOL can get bothersome.

My Playlist on Youtube!
I made a play list of famous Opera pieces that everyone of my students will know! The videos are very important for my students. They can watch the videos to see:
-proper stage presence
-proper diction
-good stage etiquette
-learn about famous performers
It is a great advantage to have them see performances that in the past only the rich people could travel to and pay to see. It is amazing that kids can have the experience of seeing these famous performers singing famous pieces in the classroom! I am really excited to use this tool in class.

Slideshow Presentation
"Movie Musicals Through The Decades"
What I like :
Clear instructions with fun photos to support the new idea. I like when there are things in the slide to make me think and laugh. It's a good presentation when all the information is presented in an easy, memorable way. It also helps when there is not TOO much stuff and or information on one slide. Transitions, animations, fun things like that help make the slide show cool... as long as it does not clutter the slide or make the presentation too hard to understand. All in all this presentation below is no supreme, but an 'okay' presentation.
What I like :
- Has a good title page
- good bullets
- fun curtain design for background
- fun movie knowledge
- Slide 7 has fun facts that I found interesting
- Slide number5 has way too much text
- same background the whole time
- no pictures
- Not very in depth about the musicals
- no animation or slide transitions, very, Very basic
